This Privacy Policy explains how Veritable LLC ("No Spoilers Please," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use our AI chat application and related services (the "Services").

At a Glance: We do not sell your data. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Your chats are private and encrypted. We do not show you ads or share your data with advertisers. Your conversations are yours.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address;
• Name (if provided);
• Authentication credentials.

1.2 Chat Conversations

We store the chat conversations you create in No Spoilers Please, including:

• Your messages and AI-generated responses;
• Conversation titles and organization;
• Timestamps and metadata;
• Model selection preferences.

1.3 AI Model Processing

When you send a message, your conversation context is sent to third-party AI model providers to generate responses. We use industry-leading providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI) and ensure they are bound by strict data protection agreements. Your conversations are not used to train AI models. They are processed only to generate responses for you.

1.4 Voice Mode

Voice mode is optional and uses your microphone only with your permission. Audio is recorded only while you press and hold to talk, and is streamed to Google for live transcription. The resulting text is sent and stored as an ordinary message. When voice mode reads a reply aloud, the reply's text is sent to Google to generate speech. We do not store your voice recordings or the generated audio. Neither is used to train AI models.

1.5 Technical Data

We automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system;
• App version;
• Crash reports and error logs;
• General usage patterns (features used, not transaction content).

1.6 Subscription and Payment Data

If you purchase a paid subscription, we collect and store your subscription status, plan tier, and billing metadata (such as renewal dates) so we can provide your plan. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Services;
• To sync your data across your devices in real-time;
• To provide customer support;
• To improve the app's performance and fix bugs;
• To comply with legal obligations.

2.1 What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Your chat data is used only to provide the Services to you.
• We do not show you ads or share data with advertisers.
• We do not share your conversations with third parties except as required to operate the Services (see Section 3).
• We do not read your conversations except when necessary for support requests or to investigate abuse.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only in these limited cases:

• AI Model Providers: Your conversations are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI) to generate responses. These providers are bound by strict data protection agreements and do not use your data to train models.
• Voice processing: In voice mode, the audio you record is sent to Google for transcription, and reply text is sent to Google to be read aloud. Google processes it only to provide these features and does not use it to train models.
• Service providers: We use infrastructure and hosting services to operate No Spoilers Please. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Payment processors: If you subscribe, we share the minimum information necessary with Stripe to process payments and manage your subscription.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• Safety: We may disclose data to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or the Services.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. Your conversations are encrypted and protected at every layer of our infrastructure.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your account and conversation data as long as your account is active.
• You can delete individual conversations at any time within the app.
• You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Upon account deletion, we will remove your data from active systems within 30 days, subject to standard backup retention.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you;
• Export your conversation data;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your account and data;
• Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the Services.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you within the app or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
